Getting started with Smart911 is easy. Please follow the steps below to register for an account and creating your Safety Profile.
- Go to https://www.smart911.com/
- Click on the Sign Up button
- Fill out the registration form. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk(*).
NOTES:
+It is recommended that you choose your email address for your User ID.
+User IDs must be unique. If your User ID has already been registered, you will receive an error message. If this occurs, simply return to Smart911.com and login with this User ID, clicking "Forgot password" as necessary.
- Click the Create Account button
- Enter your address information and click Continue. Required fields are indicated with an asterisk(*).
- Use the map to confirm your address. Move the pin if necessary. Click the Confirm this Address button.
NOTE:
Depending on how far you move the pin, the street address may change along with it. Your location information may be used by first responders in case of an emergency, so please use caution when making updates. Feel free to reach out to our support team at smart911.support@motorolasolutions.com with any questions.
- Confirm you account via text or phone call. Click on of the following options"
- Confirm by Text Message
- Confirm by Phone Call
- Schedule a Later Call
- Enter the code you received by text or phone call and click the 'Confirm by....' button

Set your Notification Preferences.
- Select the contacts you want to receive alerts (phone numbers and/or email addresses) AND
- If available, select notifications from local public safety agencies. You can specify if you want text, voice or email messaging for each notification available.
- Click the Save button
- You're done! You have successfully created a basic Smart911 Profile. You have the option to update your Smart911 Profile with additional details; addresses, people, contact methods, important medical information and more, but this is not required.
