Your Notification Preferences can be managed on the Alerts page of your Smart911 account.
You can select the contacts you want to receive notifications AND the ways in which they are reached; Text, Voice or Email.
Please note that not all messages will be sent via all communication modes. We recommend you select all available Devices and Notification types (Text, Voice, Email) to ensure you receive all notifications you are interested in.
Also, from time to time, Smart911 will send you notifications regarding the status of your account. For example, you will receive reminders to log in to your account every six months in order to keep it active. Keep in mind that you'll continue to receive these account messages, even if you don't subscribe to any alerting lists (of course, you will always have the option to unsubscribe if you wish).
To update your Notification Preferences, follow the steps below:
- Log in to your Smart911 Account: LOG IN

Select the Alerts tab
- Select the contacts you want to receive Alerts (Mobile Phones, Landline Phones and/or Email Addresses)
- Select the Notifications you want to receive. The specific notification types will vary, depending on what the local alerting authority publishes

Select the ways in which you prefer to receive alerts for each notification. You can choose Text, Voice or Email for each type of Notification
