- Confirming your information informs emergency personnel that you data is still accurate.
If you are using the system to sign up for emergency alerting:
- Keeping your profile up to date is optional.
- By updating your information, you can make sure that you have access to nearby alerts and do not get alerts that no longer are relevant to you.
- Your nearby agencies may have added additional alerts that you could sign up for.
